This guide is meant for users who require greater storage capacity than their Samsung Display has internally. This is necessary if you have more than 4GB of images or videos scheduled to show on your Display because your Display's internal storage is not large enough to handle that amount of data.

Please note that your menu may have a different appearance depending on the generation of Display you are using. This will not change the steps involved in changing this setting.


First, plug the USB storage device into the USB port on the rear of your Display. The device must be formatted in FAT32 to be compatible.

To change the screen's storage from "Internal" to "USB", using the remote control, press the Home button:



Using the remote control cursor and enter buttons, choose the "Player" tab on the Samsung screen:



Next, choose the "Options" tab in the upper right corner of the screen:



Then the "Default Storage" setting:



And switch from "Internal" to "USB":
